Therapy that’s

Creative ⊹ Grounded ⊹ Practical

I’m Molly Rushing, an Advanced Clinical Fellow at Intuitive Healing in NYC, offering holistic therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and spiritual or religious trauma.

My approach combines evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, and SFT with expressive arts, movement, and mindfulness, bridging the practical with the intuitive.

With a background in Broadway, fitness, and corporate life, I bring creativity and humor to the therapy room, helping you move beyond talk toward lasting, embodied change.

My Services

Talk Therapy

My style is collaborative and playful, and I use a strengths-based approach in my work with clients. I have an Adlerian background and incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy into my work. The gist is we will work together to identify your values and goals and incorporate evidence-based practices to create meaningful change in your life.

Expressive Arts Therapy

My personal philosophy is that reflective insight infused with embodied processes, like the expressive arts, can lead to a deeper level of self-knowledge and transformation. Trained in Expressive Arts Therapy, I am able to incorporate practices involving movement, poetry, writing, music, visual arts, and mindfulness that facilitate deeper insight and meaning in the therapeutic process.
